Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to create a DocVault account. Users under 18 may use DocVault only with verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be bound by these terms on the minor's behalf.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to upload illegal content, documents that don't belong to you, or documents intended to impersonate another person. You will not attempt to access other users' accounts, reverse-engineer the service, or interfere with its operation.

3. Disclaimer

DocVault stores files but does not verify document authenticity. We do not guarantee that information extracted by AI is accurate — always cross-check important values directly against the source document.

4. Aadhaar disclaimer

We store your Aadhaar file as uploaded. We do not extract, verify, or share Aadhaar data with any third party. We are not an Authentication User Agency (AUA) or KYC User Agency (KUA) under UIDAI, and DocVault must not be used to demonstrate identity to any third party.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocVault and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, business, or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to DocVault in the 12 months preceding the claim.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
